CYCLING:  We analyse your bike set-up AND YOU!  Because it’s not just about the bike, it’s also about you!  For racers, can the rider get into the most efficient and aerodynamic position?  Are you strong enough to control the position?  And for all types of cyclists, we can help you to simply get comfortable, because YOU shouldn’t be in pain or uncomfortable when you ride!

RUNNING We analyse your biomechanics and technique and can HELP YOU become more efficient.  WHY?  Because ­ efficiency = ­increased speed and decreased injuries!  Simple!

SWIMMING:  We analyse the biomechanics of your stroke and can HELP YOU become more efficient by decreasing drag forces, improving your streamline and developing your strength at key points in the your stroke that are required for swimming fast.

INJURIES:  We always analyse the CAUSE of your pain, not just the symptom.  We look at the whole body and not just the sore area.  This includes your cycling / running / swimming biomechanics, where underlying technique faults can be common causes of your pain developing in the first place!  We believe this HELPS YOU achieve long lasting results.

Our expertise comes from working with cyclists, runner, swimmers and triathletes for the past 15 years.  Our approach is well suited to dealing with complex and difficult problems, and to HELPING YOU achieve long term results.

David Wadsworth

David has a broad background in physiotherapy, developing his clinical expertise over the past 15 years.  In practice he has divided his time between sports physiotherapy, and managing complex and persistent problems that traditional care all too frequently fails to cure.

His passion is cycling, a sport in which he has been involved for the past decade.  He races on the road and track (when he can find time between raising a family and work!), and enjoys mountain biking in the off-season.

In sports physiotherapy, David has had a long and extensive involvement in cycling, running and swimming sports.  He has helped guide the physical development of some of Australia’s leading swimmers over the past decade as they developed from teenage prodigies into Olympic stars.  He has been performing bike fits professionally for the past 5 years and has now made this a focus of his clinical practice.  For those cyclists and triathletes who have had problems after a bike crash, David has found the skills developed in managing patients with complex and persistent pain far more useful than those found in traditional sports physiotherapy practice.  He is equally comfortable helping runners, swimmers or cyclists perfect their technique and biomechanical efficiency to achieve peak performance, whatever their age, level or goals.
